Jupiter-Hope for the Future. Astrology Day June 10th

4 Talks on Jupiter by leading astrologers

Jupiter rules good luck, optimism and expansion. In our astrological charts, it is the key to where we find joy. However it can also promise more than it delivers – blind optimism, excess and over-indulgence are Jupiterian. But when times are hard, we can look to Jupiter to restore our faith in life. Join us for a big day of positive exploration!

Julian Venables, Tim Burness, Phoebe Wyss and Pam Carruthers explore Jupiter from four different perspectives.

Jupiter- Opportunity calls: A Talk with Julian Venables

Planet Jupiter is considered the Greater Benefic and therefore has always been considered a lucky and fortunate planet – it is everyone’s ‘guardian angel’ manifesting in life according to its condition in the natal chart.

Julian introduces Jupiter, its keywords and rulerships and shows how to spot it in the world around you.

It is the first planet that helps the individual integrate into wider society – and in this way helps to define career and vocation. He will also be looking at Jupiter’s role in economics and its links to the financial markets.

Julian Venables is a Hove astrologer with a Faculty Diploma. He writes daily horoscopes on www.uinterview.com and has just published his first novel ‘The Astrologer’s Apprentice’. His website is www.julianvenables.co.uk

Jupiter Transits: A Talk with Tim Burness

Tim Burness
Tim Burness

Drawing on the experience of clients, friends and others over the last thirty years, Tim will be examining the pros and cons of Jupiter transits. Provided we don’t get too carried away (!), knowledge of these often brief transits can help us take full advantage of life’s opportunities.

There will be an opportunity to share your own experiences.

Tim Burness has run a busy astrological consultation and teaching practice at several points over the last 25 years. He has been featured in local and national media. Tim is interested in raising the profile of accessible and intelligent astrology as a tool for self-awareness and healing. He lives in Brighton and is also a musician and care worker. He has written a popular Cheeky Horoscopes page and also a number of more serious articles on his blog at www.timburness.wordpress.com

The Quest: Meeting our inner Jupiter, an experiential session with Phoebe Wyss

First we have to climb mount Olympus whose peak lies high above the clouds. Driven by our hopes and aspirations we set out. With more height we gain an overview of the landscape we inhabit below. But to reach the peak we must pass through clouds of error and illusion. Finally we enter Jupiter’s shrine. What answers will he give us to our questions about purpose and the future?

Phoebe Wyss is a Hove astrologer with 35 years experience in giving consultations, courses and workshops and is an experienced public speaker. She’s published an astrology board game, two books on the astrological archetypes and her latest book on archetypal astrology and the new paradigm was published in 2014. Jupiter and Success in Life: A Talk with Pam Carruthers

Pam Carruthers

Do you need to have Jupiter in its own sign of Sagittarius or Pisces or exalted in Cancer to get to the top and succeed in life? As someone who has Jupiter in Capricorn, Pam will demonstrate – with the charts of famous people – how we can respect those who get ahead in life without the ‘good luck’ that Jupiter bestows.

Pam Carruthers is a qualified professional Vedic and Western astrologer. She works from a spiritual perspective and is a student of A Course in Miracles.

An experienced Life Coach and Trainer, Pam helps clients discover the hidden patterns that are holding them back in their lives.

A consultation with her is a life enhancing and healing experience. She facilitates a unique transformational workshop ‘Healing your Birth Story’. Vist her website www.healingstars.com
