Venus Meets Mars: the Astrology of our most Significant Relationships

Phoebe Wyss

Those who spark love at first sight and those who spark fear, those who mother us and those who abandon us, those who help us rise and those who cause us to fall – all the characters in life’s intensest relationships can be found symbolised in our birth charts.

In this experiential workshop Phoebe will use guided meditation, inter-active group techniques and chart examples to help us understand more deeply what experiencing these significant relationships has taught us about ourselves.

Phoebe Wyss (www. astrophoebe.comis a professional Hove astrologer with 43 years experience in giving consultations, courses and workshops. She also trained as a past-life therapist back in the 1980s in Germany, and for many years combined regression work with natal astrology in her practice. Following her life-long fascination with synchronicity, she’s published an astrological board game, an astrological oracle in book form, two books illuminating the astrological archetypes and a book that explains astrology within the context of the new in-coming cosmology of Oneness – Inside the Cosmic Mind: Archetypal Astrology and the New Cosmology, Floris Books, 2014.

Part Two: 1.30pm – 4.00pm (with a tea break)

Fight or Flight: Peace at any Price, or Simply Seeing Red?

Lindsay Gladstone

Strength of character is initially forged within the early learning constellation of family and siblings.

Taking into adulthood negotiating strategies learned in kindergarten how do we face up to adversity and get what we want out of life? Is it through diplomacy and tact?  Or do we wantonly grab our heart’s desire without consideration of other people’s feelings?

In this afternoon session, through the astrological expression of Venus and Mars in the birth chart, we will review our sense of values and self-worth and how these principles colour our relationship towards family, siblings and the world around us.

Lindsay Gladstone is an astrological consultant. Her passionate exploration of the soul’s connection with the cosmos culminated in the Diploma of the Faculty of Astrological Studies (DFAstrolS), as well as an M.A. in Myth, Cosmology, and the Sacred from Canterbury Christ Church University.

For several years Lindsay was Head of Exams and a Council member and tutor for the Faculty of Astrological Studies. Lecturing and curating workshops in the UK and Europe, her journey has evolved into Axis Mundi Astrology.
