Our Autumn Astrology Day will offer three talks on this theme by three professional astrologers: Phoebe Wyss, Julian Venables and Robyn Ray
When the Eclipse Season Comes Around
A Talk by Julian Venables

Starting with the famous Pink Floyd lyrical quote: “And everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon.” Julian will take you on a journey into the mechanics of Eclipses, how they happen, why they happen, and what happens (with particular reference to changes in your own life/looking at your own chart). Julian will be looking at three examples: The USA new moon Eclipse that happened on 21 August 2017 and the upcoming Solar Eclipse seasons starting 26 December 2019 & 21 June 2020.
Julian Venables is a local astrologer with the Faculty Diploma (D.F.Astrol.S). He offers client consultations, teaches and lectures in astrology. Julian has written a novel about William Lilly. He writes extensive daily and weekly horoscopes which you can read on his website www.londonastrologer.com
The Family Patterns of Eclipses
A Talk by Robyn Ray

Robyn will explain how eclipses belong in families, and how each family is different. In order to understand the stories around eclipses you need to consider the whole Moon Phase that contains them. She will go on to show, giving examples, how helpful eclipses can be in the timing of important and sometimes life-changing events.
Robyn Ray has been a practising Astrologer since the eighties having studied and qualified with several astrological bodies, including the FAS and the STA. She has always been fascinated by the various Moon Phases, especially those that include Eclipses.
Eclipses: A Personal Perspective
A Talk by Phoebe Wyss

If we put ourselves in the right place at the right time to experience a total solar eclipse, it can be life changing. The temperature drops, an eerie hush falls on nature, clouds thin to reveal the sun – now a black hole in the sky! If we gaze up into it, a tunnel effect is created, and it feels like we’re floating peacefully in a limbo outside time and space. A near-death experience? Certainly an abnormal state of consciousness! In this session we’ll investigate the meaning of our inner experiences of solar and lunar eclipses and their insight-promising potential, associating major eclipses on our personal astrological agenda with stages on our karmic evolutionary path.
Phoebe Wyss is a Hove astrologer with 40 years experience in giving consultations, courses and workshops and is an experienced public speaker. She’s published an astrology oracle game, two books on the astrological archetypes and her latest book, Inside the Cosmic Mind: Archetypal Astrology and the New Cosmology, was published by Floris Books in 2014.
