Using your Winged Helmet and liberating yourself: Discovering how Mercury and Uranus work in your chart: A Talk by Julian Venables

Julian will firstly give a quick photographic tour of looking for Mercury in sculpture, buildings and the urban environment, using the City of London as an example.

Then he will explain Mercury in the natal horoscope, by sign, house and aspect (its overall “condition”) and finally he will look at the positioning of Uranus in the natal horoscope and how it acts as an awakener and liberator on the life’s journey. Bring your own chart for offered insights into the natal placement of Mercury and Uranus in your life.

Beyond the Mind: Meeting your Inner Sky God and his Winged Messenger: An Experiential Talk by Phoebe Wyss

Using some experiential structures, we will deepen our understanding of these two cosmic archetypes, which have more influence on what goes on in our heads than people think. They challenge us to use our mental powers in a constructive way and employ our intelligence creatively. Those on a spiritual path often see the mind as a barrier to spiritual growth. However, although intelligence is of the being not the mind, mind is its necessary vehicle.
‘On the way from innocence to innocence we must pass through the mind!’ (Osho)
