A Day Exploring Neptune
Brighton Convention Astrology Day 26th September 2015 in association with the Astrological Lodge of London
This year we, the Brighton and Hove Astrological Circle, are celebrating our 10th birthday. We are joining together with the Astrological Lodge of London who are celebrating their 100th birthday!
We invite you to join us on this wonderful occasion to attend a very special day with 4 talks by leading astrologers focusing on Neptune, God of the Ocean, by the sea in Brighton.
Phoebe Wyss

Neptune the Mystic Eye: An Exploration of the Pisces Archetype in your Chart
Phoebe will offer an experiential session to give participants an experience of their inner Neptune through exploring the Pisces archetype in their birth charts interactively.
In Neptune’s realm – the deep and boundless ocean of the psyche – forms melt and merge, structures dissolve and our normal perception of self and the world is blurred. A certain maturity of consciousness is needed to use this principle creatively, as Neptune requires the sacrifice of something we hold most dear, while offering us in return the gift of spiritual inspiration.
Phoebe Wyss is a Hove astrologer with 35 years experience in giving consultations, courses and workshops. She founded our astrology circle in 2005. An experienced speaker, she’s also published an astrology board game, two books on the astrological archetypes and her latest book on archetypal astrology and cosmology – Inside the Cosmic Mind – appeared last autumn (see www.astrophoebe.com)
Julian Venables

Neptune and the Tritons of Brighton
Julian will be looking at Neptune’s placement in the Brighton horoscope as well as discussing the Tritons, the mythical fish on the Brighton & Hove heraldic crest that pulled Neptune’s chariot through the sea. He will be looking into Neptune’s mystical influences on our seaside city.
He will also be looking at the upcoming Saturn/Neptune mutable square in 2016/2017 as it plays out on the world stage and in our own lives.
Julian Venables is a Hove astrologer with a Faculty Diploma. He writes daily horoscopes on www.uinerview.com and has just published his first novel ‘The Astrologer’s Apprentice’. His website is www.julianvenables.co.uk
