Highly Talented People and the Archetype of the Puer and Puella Aeternus with Rebekah Hirsch

In this special workshop (do bring your horoscope), we will be exploring the archetype of the Puer Aeternus, the eternal youth and the Puella, the eternal maiden. This archetype describes a Peter Pan type of character – magical and charismatic but unable to cross the threshold into maturity and take on adult responsibilities. People who are strongly influenced by the Puer and the Puella are often highly talented. However, this archetype connects to our growing understanding of ADHD, the Puer struggles to meet the demands of the physical world and they often experience the disappointment of being unable to manifest their gifts. We’ll be exploring some of the mythology associated with the Puer and its encounter with the archetypes of the Senex and the Gorgon. And we’ll look at how the Puer and Puella appear in the horoscope through the placements of Mercury, Venus, Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter and the signs they rule.

Rebekah J S Hirsch is the author of Charting the Soul: Astrology, Characterology and the Human Energy Field. She is a mature, experienced, professional Psycho-Spiritual Astrologer. She originally trained with Liz Greene and Howard Sasportas at the Centre for Psychological Astrology in London and has worked as an astrologer for 25 years. In 2002, she graduated, after four years of intensive study, from the Barbara Brennan School of Healing USA. Brennan healers take a psycho-spiritual approach to healing and the training includes neo-Reichian body-mind psychological process work as well as hands-on energy healing. She returned to BBSH to complete the Advanced Level training in 2009. Sins Of The Forefathers with Ana Isabel

To what extent is an individual’s karma shaped by the experience of previous generations? Do we choose families according to the ancestral karma being played out? How can this help the Soul’s evolution? In this workshop, Ana Isabel draws on her experience as an astrologer and Past-Life Regressionist to look at how Chiron provides important information about the nature of a Soul’s karmic wounds as inherited from the chosen family of incarnation.

Ana Isabel writes of her life and work: “After university, I moved to London. I worked for the BBC World Service as a producer, writer and presenter. I also worked as a teacher and then as a special needs teacher. Teaching enabled me to observe astrology in action. I used my knowledge to better understand my children and this helped me devise strategies to help them and connect with them. “When I left teaching and broadcasting, I decided to work as an astrologer. I began to give consultations, but I also began to teach astrology. I love watching my students as their interest grows in this wonderful subject. I am always delighted when they use their knowledge, and it helps them better understand themselves and others. “Besides teaching astrology, I also write about it and have appeared on many radio stations including the BBC to talk about astrology and take calls from listeners. More recently I had my own radio show, Lightways on My Spirit Radio. “Further training in Analytical Hypnotherapy and Past-Life Regression has led to working with clients to help them better understand their life’s purpose.
