‘I don’t really know why I’m drawn to him; he’s not the usual type I’m attracted to!’ Sometimes the power of attraction can seem like a mystery but astrology can be a fabulous tool in understanding relationships.
Helen Sewell will be presenting the charts of some famous couples, looking at their planetary connection and synastry and seeing their strengths and weaknesses.
She will also be looking at the transits to their charts and some of the challenges and events that have manifested for them.

In this talk, Glastonbury-based astrologer, John Wadsworth will explore the tension and irresistible attraction between these two opposed, yet eternally bound lovers, and how their astrological placements reflect the way we love, relate and express sexual desire.
June 4th Sect:
Sect is an ancient astrological concept. Planets are divided into two groups, diurnal or nocturnal. Sect underpins most astrological techniques, influencing chart interpretation. A knowledge of sect is useful to all astrologers.
In this talk Trav Travers will demonstrate this important and useful astrological technique.
June 18th Astrology Decoded: Thinking Magically
Sue Farebrother will talk about the reasons behind the decision to write her book Astrology Decoded, and discuss both its philosophy and content.
She will explain what is meant by ‘magical thinking’ and its history, and the choices she made about the contents of the book.
July 2nd The Astrological Chart of the USA The past, present and possible future:
Tim Burness will be covering the birth of the United States, the charts of several presidents, the astonishing astrology of 911, and a brief selection of other historical events.
The talk will conclude with a look at several current American crises, indicated by planetary movements during 2014, 2015 and beyond.
July 16th The King of the Chart Atmakaraka Significator of one’s Destiny:
In the Jyotish Vedic system, the planet with highest longitude in terms of degrees is of huge importance. It is rightly called the “King” of the chart, as it calls us into action, shapes our choices and consequently our destiny.
Interaction between the Atmakaraka and his “Minister” (the planet with the second highest degree in the chart) determine the karmic script mapped out in the nativity. A talk by Sonal Sachdeva.
